Patrick Kinser

Patrick Kinser joined Birdon America Inc. in January 2023 and serves as Chief Operating Officer, where he is responsible for driving operational excellence across the company’s U.S.-based programs and facilities. In this role, Patrick provides strategic leadership across engineering, production, and program execution, aligning operational performance with Birdon’s long term growth objectives and commitments to its defense and maritime customers.

Prior to joining Birdon, Patrick built a distinguished career in cross functional project and program management, supporting complex shipbuilding and defense programs for the U.S. Army, Navy, and Marine Corps. His experience includes leadership of the 47 foot Motor LifeBoat program, where he played a key role in delivering mission critical capabilities to operators. A Marine Corps veteran, Patrick brings a global perspective shaped by four years of international assignments in the Middle East and Southeast Asia as an infantry officer.

His military service was recognized with numerous honors and awards, including the Bronze Star Medal, underscoring his proven leadership in high consequence operational environments. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University, a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law, and is a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute.

During and following law school, he served at the U.S. Department of Labor and the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission, where he proudly advocated for the rights of skilled laborers and military veterans. Patrick currently travels regularly between Birdon’s U.S. locations, partnering closely with leadership teams to strengthen operational execution, develop talent, and ensure consistent delivery performance across the enterprise.
