Our History

Secured First Defence Contract
refit of LCM8 landing craft for the Australian Army.
1994
Awarded First Environmental Remediation Contract
rehabilitation of Throsby Creek for the Hunter Catchment Management Trust and the Public Works Department.
2003
Designed and Built the First Bridge Erection Propulsion Boats (BEPBS)
for the Australian Army
2007
Secured First Defence Disposal Contract
recycling of 12 Fremantle Class Patrol Boats in Darwin.
2009
Established Birdon USA
targeting U.S. Defence contracts.
2012
Acquired Propulsion Specialist NAMJet
2019
Delivered Australia's Largest Public Transport Fleet Renewal Program
14 new ferries and 8 refits for Sydney Harbour.
2021
Secured Our First Offshore Oil and Gas Subsea Project
disposal operations for Fugro’s Cooper Chase.
2021
Commenced the Largest Coal Tailings Relocation Project in Australia at Glencore Mine
24/7 operations.
2022
Largest Single Contract Award to Date
Design and build 27 Waterways Commerce Cutters (WCC) for the U.S. Coast Guard.
2025
First Vehicle Design & Build Contract
for the Australian Army.
