Pathways
Birdon Futures offers six structured pathways depending on your stage of study, experience and career goals.

Structured pathways for recent graduates to transition into professional roles across engineering, operations and business functions. Graduates gain exposure to real projects, develop technical capability and build a strong foundation for long-term career growth.
Short-term placements that provide practical experience alongside study. Interns work within teams, contribute to live projects and gain insight into how Birdon operates across engineering, manufacturing and operations.
Ongoing opportunities for students or early-career professionals to work part-time or in support roles while building experience.These roles provide consistent exposure to projects and teams, helping bridge the gap between study and full-time employment.

Hands-on training across trades and technical disciplines, combining structured learning with on-the-job experience.Apprentices and trainees develop practical skills, gain nationally recognised qualifications and contribute to real projects from day one.

Entry pathways into business functions such as finance, HR, commercial and operations support. These roles provide structured development and exposure to how the business operates, supporting long-term career growth beyond technical disciplines.
Short-term placements designed to introduce students to the industry and working environment. Participants gain early exposure to Birdon’s operations, helping inform future career decisions and pathways.
