NAMJet is a dedicated marine propulsion offering within the Birdon Group, specialising in waterjet propulsion technology for defence, commercial, and specialist vessels.
Integrated across Birdon’s vessel design, build, and sustainment programs, NAMJet delivers high-performance propulsion engineered for reliability, control, and efficiency in demanding operating environments.
While most commonly deployed as part of complete vessel solutions, NAMJet systems are also available as a standalone offering for marine operators, shipbuilders, and defence customers.
High-Thrust Waterjet Propulsion Capability
NAMJet’s high-thrust, low-pressure waterjet systems are engineered to deliver thrust, durability, and control across commercial, defence, and specialist vessel applications.
Using mass flow design principles, NAMJet systems move large volumes of water at lower revolutions per minute, generating high thrust while minimising cavitation and mechanical stress.
