Jonathan Buczkowski

Jonathan Buczkowski is the Advanced Concepts Director at Birdon, where he leads innovation, product development, and technical strategy to drive business growth. He was most recently Birdon’s Lead-Engineer on the USCG Motor Lifeboat (MLB) Program.

He transitioned from the aviation to the maritime industry, leveraging his expertise in regulatory compliance, design, prototyping, and testing. Jonathan has consulted widely on LEAN office flow and developed training in design for manufacturability, project management, and strategic initiatives.

He contributed to two companies achieving AS9100 accreditation and has supported numerous military and commercial aviation programs, including work on ISR platforms for the U.S. Air Force, Blackhawk helicopters for the U.S. Army, and multiple FAA Type and Supplemental Type Certificates. Jonathan lives in Denver with his wife Brinley and their three children.
